Positions We're Currently hiring for:

Barista/Crew Member

Jardin Tea is a unique Tea & Coffee House that serves delicious one-of-a-kind loose leaf tea & coffee drinks, cakes and food made from the highest quality ingredients.  Our founding principle of offering our customers with high quality and unique products is at the core of our DNA. We’ve developed a menu consisting of artisanal tea and coffee drinks, tea/coffee infused cakes, and unique foods you won’t find anywhere else! 

We are currently looking for team members to join our new location in Seattle's International District neighborhood.   We'll provide the training you need to feel confident working across all areas of our shop - Tea/Coffee, Food or Cake stations.  So whether you have experience or no experience at all, that's OK as long as you are a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is ready to learn.  We are currently looking for part-time team members doing the following:

  • Assist customers and educate them on menu items

  • Make hand-crafted tea and coffee drinks

  • Decorate cakes & cake balls

  • Prepare/Cook light food items and prep ingredients as needed

  • Work with team to ensure inventory is stocked and rotated

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Complete open or closing duties depending on shift

Preferred qualifications:

  • Education: Some high school or equivalent.

  • Experience: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing and walking the entire work day. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be dependable, enjoy working as part of a team and be customer service oriented

  • Must have open work availability Monday - Sunday between 10AM to 8:30PM.  Part-time positions are 10-20 hr a week, full-time positions are 30-35 hr a week. 

  • Reliable means of transportation to commute to work

  • A current valid food handler's permit is required, or the ability to obtain one upon hire

Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage (based on experience) plus tips, shift meal, free drinks and product discounts.
