Positions We're Currently hiring for:

Barista/Crew Member

We are currently looking for a Cashier/Barista to join our location inside of Uwajimaya in Seattle's International District neighborhood. We are currently looking for part-time team members.

  • Assisting customers at the counter

  • Make hand-crafted tea and coffee drinks

  • Light frying and preparation of food/dessert options    

  • Assisting customers with purchases and sharing tea knowledge (we will train you)

  • Working with the team to ensure items are stocked and rotated

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Complete open or closing duties depending on shift

Preferred qualifications:

  • Education: Some high school or equivalent.

  • Experience: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing and walking the entire work day. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be dependable, enjoy working as part of a team and be customer service oriented

  • Must have open availability to work Monday - Sunday between 10AM to 9PM. Full-time position would be 30 - 35 hours per week, part-time position would be 20 - 25 hours per week

  • Reliable means of transportation to commute to work

  • A current valid food handler's permit is required, or the ability to obtain one upon hire

Compensation includes an hourly wage (depending on experience) plus tips, shift meal, free drinks and product discounts.
